The pattern was very easy to follow, but you have to be aware of rows and where your beads are going. It is definitely not a pattern for a first time beader, but with patience one could certainly do it. I have made two of these so far, and will be buying more patterns in the future if they are this easy to follow!
Great pattern! Videos made it much easier to understand / see what to do! Will be making lots of these little fish!!!!
I love this pattern so much. It is easy to follow and the ducks are so cute. With a little bit of practice it also suits for complete beginners.
Love (!!) this pattern. It's the first pattern I tried beading.
I did check the video (in the pattern of the bumble bee) which helped me a lot getting started, although the written patterns are really clear step-by-step.
I think I made a few small mistakes (not sure if I connected the right beads), but I really love my beaded ghost❤️
I couldn't find the big beads for his eyes and I did them with the small ones but I still feel that he is cute. The circular patterns are very easy to do. And as always the guide was suuuper easy to read and understand. Thanks!
This was my first ever beading project and I found it very easy to follow the steps and understand the guide. 10/10 Look how cuteee!
This is only my second beading project, the first being your fish design, and I am so impressed with how well the the pattern is written. I am a visual learner so I was a bit nervous but it's very clear and the pictures are very helpful
a perfect pattern to get you started into beading! the pattern tells you everything you need and shows you exactly what to do!
I used your pattern to demonstrate beadwork at our state fair representing the Upper Midwest Bead Society. I gave finished ghosts to the kids visiting our booth. I shared your name so interested people could find your pattern online. I took two ghosts that were left over and made earrings and gave them to a local tv celebrity for her daughter!
These cute little ghosts are so cute. The pattern was well written and the pics were easy to determine where each bead goes. They make up really fast and are too cute. If anyone wants a quick, cute, easy pattern this is the one.
Super well explained instructions. My first ever beading pattern and it was so fun and easy to follow :) I appreciate how much thought has gone into the instructions. The color coded illustrations are just very clear and easy to follow!
Patterns are perfect but the problem i have is to get transparent beads in right colours and that there is not butterfly pattern :) i will wait for one you create and buy it for sure :)
Amazing beaded bundle! Each pattern is super easy to follow and Julia makes it so easy to find the right supplies and most can be found on Amazon or your local craft or beading store. I was lucky enough to have a beading store near me and I have been able to easily make tulips, ducks, and fish from Julia's patterns! Thank you!
FAQs
Is this bead crochet?
No, it's not bead crochet. My designs are made using a mix of different bead weaving techniques like peyote, circular beading, and brick stitch and sometimes even a few of my own methods.
Each pattern includes step-by-step illustrated instructions so you can easily follow along and recreate the piece.
Do you provide video tutorials with the patterns?
Not for now, all my patterns come as PDFs with detailed step-by-step illustrations. They’re designed to be as clear and easy to follow as possible.
I may add video tutorials in the future, but for now, the written instructions include close-up diagrams and visual guides for every step.
What beads do you use?
I mostly work with Miyuki Seed Beads (not Delicas), usually in transparent or luster finishes. These beads have a beautiful light reflection and a soft shine that make each piece sparkle just right ✨
Other brands like Toho also work great, as long as the seed beads are very uniform in size and shape.
What thread do you use?
I use Miyuki 330 dtex 100% nylon thread.
Here are a few great alternatives I also like:
- KO (made by Miyuki) or One-G (by Toho)
- Nymo
- FireLine or DuraThread
Whatever you choose, make sure the thread is thin enough to pass through your beads several times and strong enough not to fray easily.
Can I sell the creations I make with your patterns?
Yes, absolutely, you can sell the finished pieces you make using my patterns.
All I ask is that you don’t resell, redistribute, or share the patterns themselves (including screenshots or copies), and please credit the design to me if someone asks where it’s from.
